The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC) Education programming (titled DEC EDU) was created to help fill the first tenet of what The DEC offers entrepreneurs in the community: Education. The DEC exists to offer Education, Mentorship and Community to the North Texas entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The DEC EDU is a series of classes taught by local business leaders and experienced subject matter experts on topics that are necessary for entrepreneurs to know in order to enhance the ability to make their businesses successful. Whether that be “How to Legally Incorporate Your Business” or “How to Develop a Marketing and PR Strategy for a Startup”, or even “How to Understand Financial Documents”, The DEC provides a series of two-hour long courses that will offer entrepreneurs the ability to have an interactive conversation with the DEC EDU teachers providing the opportunity to directly apply the learnings in these classes to the entrepreneur’s business.

The classes that are taught in The DEC EDU program will be determined by the DEC staff and in accordance with the current needs of entrepreneurs in our North Texas community. There is a nominal charge to attend DEC EDU classes
