The DEC Network and Capital One announced that registration remains open for the virtual WEDallas Mompreneur Summit on Wednesday May 10, featuring speakers and topics that are designed to equip, inspire, and empower women entrepreneurs in North Texas.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Capital One to bring this event to women entrepreneurs in North Texas,” DEC Network CEO Bill Chinn said in a statement. “Our goal is to provide resources and support to help women entrepreneurs thrive, and we believe this event is a great opportunity to do just that.”
It’s a completely virtual summit and is open to all women entrepreneurs looking to connect with like-minded individuals and take their businesses to the next level, the DEC Network said.
Featured speakers
Speakers include Brieanna Lightfoot Smith, Caz Gaddis, Lauren Lemunyan, Kat Weaver, Lissa Duty, Susan Bryant, and Keynote April Anthony, moderated by Andrella Thomas.
Topics will include building a brand without burning out, prioritization strategies for moms, and mastering financial confidence, among others. It will include a lunch break and breakout sessions for attendees to network and connect, the DEC said.

WE (Women Entrepreneurs) Dallas is a signature program created by Capital One and The DEC Network to provide year-round support for women entrepreneurs in North Texas. It includes a Mompreneur Kickoff Event, a WEDallas Cohort, a WEDallas Session at Women of Innovation Summit, and more, all focused on providing training and resources to elevate women entrepreneurs.
