Bootcamps + Accelerator Programs
Your Start Up is designed for equipping entrepreneurs with the resources, foundational tools, and best practices to take their business from a side hustle to a profitable future. This 13-week program focuses on for-profit businesses established for 1-3 years, generating revenue of less than $50,000 annually.
Benefits for all programs:
- Certificate of Completion
- Mentorship from a Successful Business Owner or High-Level Executive through The DEC Network
- RedBird free coworking during the program and a free day pass for graduates after the program
- Access to Exclusive Membership Events and Workshops
- First Priority for Future Programs (if business stage is applicable)
- Opportunity to pitch for cash prizes
- Post-program connections to exclusive pitch and network opportunities
- All programs are free!
Requirements for all programs:
- Local to Dallas
- No more than 2 absences (orientation and pitch practice required) to be eligible for pitch competition and must follow-up if absent.
- Pitch practice required to be eligble for pitch competition.
- Complete all work as instructed by the facilitator or stated in the syllabus
- Submit a completed business model canvas (an example will be provided)
- Attend at least 2 hours of mentor sessions before pitch practice
- Complete end of program feedback survey (last week of program)
- Complete 90-day & 1-year outcome survey after the program
- Join Slack cohort/alumni private channel
- Over 30 minutes late to any session and leaving a session over 30 minutes early will count as an absence
Big Idea Ideation Stage
(Summer – 3-6 hours weekly for 5 weeks)
BIG iDEA is designed as an intensive 5-week boot camp that amplifies the innovation, determination, and spirit of emerging entrepreneurs in pre-venture stage. This program is specifically for the pre-revenue ideation phase. Your business must be a for-profit idea or legal entity established for 0-1 years to qualify.

and build a sustainable pathway to capital. This 11-week program focuses on for-profit businesses established for 2-5 years and generating revenue of more than $50,000 annually.

Mentorship Program
The DEC Network is passionate about the powerful impact of mentorship for entrepreneurs. The DEC Network Mentorship Program recognizes that in order to grow businesses, an entrepreneur needs access to qualified and experienced mentors.
Mentors provide advice, counsel and experience that can help entrepreneurs avoid the hurdles that stand in their path, while also being able to catapult their businesses forward. Our mentors are volunteering their time to invest in small businesses because they understand the power of mentorship to make a difference.
Criteria
You must identify as a leader within the business industry to provide expertise to mentees to develop and grow their businesses.
Best For
This program is best for those who have been in business for more than one year, have a legal entity, or are preparing to become a legal entity.
