2024 NFTE South Regional Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge QFs Judge (Virtual)

Join us as a virtual judge for the 2024 NFTE South Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Quarter-Final Round. The culminating event of every NFTE program is the Regional Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. You are invited to serve as a judge for this virtual business pitch competition event as a member of the NFTE entrepreneurial community. We are looking for various members of the NFTE volunteer community to review business plans submitted by NFTE students from across the West region. NFTE judging panels are composed of a mix of investors and industry experts, including venture capitalists, angel investors, investment bankers, seasoned entrepreneurs, and business professionals of all kinds. We seek a good balance of volunteers that mirror and model the demographic diversity of our young entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess 5-7 student business plans via the Reviewr platform.
- Identify innovative solutions to real-world problems.
- Evaluate a student’s entrepreneurial mindset.
- Provide constructive feedback on business ideas and presentation skills.
Judging Window: Monday, April 15, 9:00 AM CST – Thursday, April 18, 11:59 PM CST
Your Commitment:
- Self-paced, remote, and asynchronous judging.
- 2-3 hours commitment, including orientation and platform training.
Tech Requirements: Computer and a strong internet connection.
How to Prepare: NFTE staff will provide a guide for the Reviewr platform, judge orientation, and review scoring rubrics.
